Shazzaam...Buck 106

Did anyone else catch this auction for a 2 line Buck 106...the phenolic handle with pommel must be very rare, usually the 2 line tang stamps have the black micarta slab handles....that 106 could be more ellusive than the red micarta handled 124 or 106

As i was told by Larry Oden ...
"at the shows you can see all kinds of variations of buck products, so none surprise me"

I have found that some are one of a kind and others mistakes
and some jest playing aroung for a "lets see what this looks like"...
and some were requested by some one of influence "upstairs"
buck made a lot of one off stuff years ago for top distributor's...i think you can stiull get one off stuff from buck some one made the simatars...
i have no knolage to share as to who makes some of bucks one off stuff NOW .... if you were to find out who had the stamps maby ....
who knows maby it is done in house and i wander by who ...
