I just snagged Progunner's cord-wrapped SHBA Apprentice blade and it just came today. All I can say is, "Damn, this thing is nice!!!" I am really still in shock over the whole thing. First, I can't believe that it sat so long. Second, I can't believe that I was actually questioning whether or not to pull the trigger on this (maybe because I am not a big fan of cord-wrapped handles). And third, I can't believe PG let her go.

If any of ever get the chance to get one, go for it; you won't be disappointed. And John, if I ever get the opportunity to meet you, the first round is on me.

I also am excited about comparing her to Dave's SHBA. I haven't decided for sure, but there may be slabs in the future for this baby!

If I had kept it, it would likely have been stripped, satin finished and have a nice set of wood slabs with mosaic pins put on it. Glad you like it.

Here are two pics, the second one next to my Basic 5.

Oh that is sweet bro. Honestly, I was close many, many times to grabbing that one. Congratulations. :)

Congrats OTE!!!

I was in a serious debate about this one.... Thanks for saving my wallet... I think. :o

I was talking to a certain badger... err... piglet last night about how I should pull the trigger on this baby and do pretty much the thing to it...

NO REGRETS!

When the passaround SHBA shows up, please post comparison pics.

Congrats again OTE!

Sweet score! I think everyone was watching that one and "itching" to pull the trigger.

yep, I was watching myself. My triger finger has not been to itchy lately, been putting lotion on it untill after Blade.

Nice score! Look foward to a compaison pic with the SHBA.
