Since moving back to the US late last year, I've been slowly reconnecting to past friends, one such friend is Ban of Bantang knives. I had visited his shop a couple weeks ago to pick up a custom I had ordered from him years ago (before life took me on a 2 1/2 year detour to Mexico) and at that time, he was kind enough to let me leave my SHBA with him for a little work.
Here's my SHBA before Ban did his magic:

As you can see it does have some light scratches from the kydex, but this has been and will continue to be a user, so I don't mind:



I'm so grateful for Ban's willingness to do this work for me. He doesn't do much modification work anymore, but he was nice enough to hook up a friend and I am grateful...this is one of the few knives I've held on to for a good while now and don't plan on ever letting go - that gorgeous satin finish and Ban's work ensure that this will continue to be the case
