SHBA passaround feeler thread

Just wondering if there is any interest in another SHBA passaround?
It's been a while since the last one and I just got the good news that my " 2 WEEK" wait for my custom shop order is over and my knives have been shipped. :eek:

The passaround SHBA is a A2 fatty around .28 thick.
Pic of it with a ratmandu for comparison.
If there is interest I'll limit the participants to around 10 and about a week each.

Let me know what you think??

Heck yeah, probably the only way I'll ever see one in preson without just buying one. Was thinking of doing a cs shba le at .25 but that would be some$ I'm shure if garth would even do it. So yeah I'd be in if you do it.

I've already played around with a few so I don't need in on this but props to you for doing it. :thumbup:
 
Id love to try it out. I've never held a straight handle before. That's a really cool shot with the RMD

The only time I've ever handled a SHBA was from one of Mulder's previous SHBA passarounds. Even my cat was enthralled with it...

I got a chance to play with that beauty last year (if it is the same one).

Good times.
 
Surely there must be more interest, no? Just the thought of handling one already has me shopping for a potential one of my own...


looking at the SHBA makes me feel things and do things I'm not entirely comfortable doing...it must be love!
 
I would love to try out a SHBA as they are one of my 'grail knives'...

Knowing my luck, I'd somehow manage to loose it. Or misplace it. Or the mysterious mail goblins would snap it up in transit to or from my location..

One of these days I will finally get to wrap my fingers around one, though..... :(

The SHBA is my all time favorite Busse.

It is the same one and that in itself is an interesting story.

This will be the 4th time for this knife to be passed around.

Looks like we're a go.
 
OK here are the guys who have expressed interest so far.
I have a few requirements though.
First:
you have to be a "GOLD" or higher member here at Bladeforums.
If not upgrade.

Second:
I need your forum name, real name, address, phone #, email address, & alternate contact (wife/girlfriend etc).

Third:
You need to agree that you will post photo's & a review and or a comparison with another knife.

Forth:
You must agree not to abuse, mistreat, misuse, or damage the knife in any way.

Fifth:
You agree to keep the knife no more than 10 days and will ship the knife USPS flat rate box insured for $800 at your own expense.

I'll get the knife ready to go and hopefully on it's way next week.

For you guys listed below that want in send me a PM or email with the above info & your agreements.

Send it to me and I will make a free sheath for it.

And let the pass arounders try it out too.
