SHBA = Straight Handled Badger Attack
Not sure how it compares to the BA-3 as I don't have one of those.
You wouldn't want a SHBA so just send them to me for disposal.

It is a Straight Handled Badger Attack and as for how they differ from a BAIII, I am sure there is a pic I can dredge up of some BA's I used to have.

Here you go, SHBAs on the upper left, Gen III BAs on the right, for the most part. Before I get a flood of email, most of these are long gone and the ones that are left aren't going anywhere, unless someone makes me some ridiculously high offer.

The early SHBAs are A2 and later ones are INFI.

Both and from .230 to .3125 thick from what I have seen.
My second most Favorite knife after the SH-1.
