Need to move this so a great deal for someone who wants a "user" original Straight Handled Battle Mistress. The black coating has been removed. No chips in the edge or abuse but has been carried. Includes the old clip style drop kydex sheath.

my shbm is 10 3/8 from scales. 9+" cutting edge.

This is true. Most of the early ones were made from .270 INFI stock and a VERY few 5/16" INFI. I have one (verified by Jerry), and it's the only one I've ever seen. 5/16" in A2 is a bit more common.

I've got a 1 of 300 swedged tip, and it is 0.270 ricasso, 0.275 on the pommel.

Nice snag there anythingsharp.
