Shbm throwers!!!

i know alot of you HOGs like to throw your SHBM's and I was just curious what is the best way of throwing your SHBM for you?


Which way do you hav the best results.

Don't know meself, but I do know that Cobalt is the King of throwin' 'em. You could look up some of his posts.

Easiest way is to throw it in a USPS priority flat rate box and then throw my address on it and then throw it in the mail.

Haven't thrown a SHBM but have thrown every other mistress. I find throwing them by the handle best for ME, but I don't like blade throwing sharp knives. Of course after a couple of misses, the knife will be dull enough to blade through without worries.

Agreed that Cobalt is King here.

I use the handle, gripping toward the back. I throw it forward with a flip of my wrist ... hard to explain, but it works for me.

A little research should bring up Cobalt's pics.

Just learn both methods, then you will have 2x the sticking ranges.

I mostly threw mine by the blade. Of course, it was entirely dependent on how far I chose to stand away from the tree.

I find it easier to throw from the lighter side. I throw from the blade on smaller folders, and from the handle on larger fixed blade knives.
