Korean vets, anyone have this recording on tape ? I was attempting to duplicate this tape that had about a dozen Japanese & Korean songs & somehow destroyed both fresh copies.

"Shee na yo dru " was crudely morphed into the thread name by we GI 's.

We are working on the last M-8th Cavalry reunion & I know our men would love a copy for old times sake. I have sold copies to raise funds for we that have fallen between the cracks. We raised $300 once for a terminal cancer victim & $425 for a Katrina Victim.

Some of us suffered hard times but still stick together !

God bless out troops !

I found a couple of links for an mp3 file.

On this page, If you click on the MP 3 button the file will play in your system, If you are using Windows Media Player you can then right click on the top bar, choose "file" and then "save as":

http://ingeb.org/songs/shinanoy.html

Another version and somewhat slower, you can go to this site and the link to the song (Shina no yoru) is at about the middle of the page, you can right click on it and "save as":

A bunch of GI's will be happy. Now that you've paved the way, I'll try to find more songs. There were quite a few on that old tape. Age probably was the problem.

It's great people like you and many other forumites that make me proud to be in here with such a fertile bunch of brains.

Thank you again !
