Busse is very good about getting the knives it to the sheath makers first it seems. David Brown gets stuff before most people.
No offense, but that is not correct at all.
I have to order, pay and wait just like everyone else.
I have a friend that lives in England that usually gets his knives before me, because he waits up for the go button on ganza's and when the releases come. the lucky thing is that he has Busse send them to me before I make his custom sheath and send them off to him.
The other lucky thing is that he will let me use them while I am waiting on mine.
Another Customer wanted his Battle Saw sheath right after he received his knife so he sent me his to use.
Same with the MOABolo, the Butaniku, the short Butaniku and so on. I get a lot of help from my friends while I wait with you guys and gals.
I do try to order on the first day, but as I understand it, they make knives in batches and in order of order and payment.
Heck there are a few out there that have shipped to others I am still waiting on, I almost bought a BG TG Friday because I still do not have mine.
but then again neither do most folks.
Thankfully most, if not all of my customers are pretty understanding and patient.
To answer the OP's question.
They are completely different knives and even though I do have a SH-E in house (my very first Busse) a kydex sheath made with it will not fit the SH-E2 that has yet to be made.
