today my girlfriend said she wanted to go shopping and took me to the gun shop and bought me the full size kimber tactical, how great is that this ever happen to you guys??????

For a wedding gift, my wife got me a Colt Det. .38 snub (old style!), had it reblued for me. The following X-Mass, I got a Colt 1991 .45 Auto. Yup, she is a keeper!!!!

I don't know as you can do a "straw purchase" in any state. However, it's not necessarily a "straw purchase" if somebody merely pays for a firearm for someone else. The government isn't particularly concerned about where the money comes from, per se, so much as attempts to evade the laws governing legal ownership and the legal transfer of ownership.

N.B.: IANAL.
 
I was looking at .45s one day, drooling over a Wilson Combat CQB and my wife said "Well if that's the one you want, you might as well get it"! Done!
 
My wife says I can have/ buy any knife (knives) or gun(s) I want. She also says to make sure I have enough left to pay the bills!

I struggle with that last part sometimes!:p
 
This seems to be about as much about buying knives as about buying guns, but with this title I'd better move it or people will keep reporting it.... :)

Man thats great. My wife recently did basically the same thing. Although she is buying the XD .45 ACP 5" tactical model for me. She says its for my birthday. What a sweet lady. Now I have a nice firearm to go along with my Linger Wilderness survival knife. What a beautiful compliment it will be!
 
Hmmm.... woman gives man gun to encourage engagement... but I'm not so sure a gun is a good engagment ring since you're not supposed to put your finger in unless you're ready to pull the trigger.






And I'll leave y'all to ponder all the wonderful double entendres in that :D
