.... we are having a bit of a weather "event" here in Sydney just now, lots of rain and wind, tree and power lines are down (had a tree come down and take some right in front of me one lane over from home)...but I still managed a quick pic of the new SHe... :) :) Out by the pond loving the weather....

Very nice!!! We have had the same weather system pass over us in the last 48hrs. Lots of branches and trees down around the place. We have a few enormous flooded gums and tallow woods around our place and I always get nervous about them in wild weather. We recently had them trimmed to remove the suss looking limbs and dead wood, but I still worry when they sway about in high wind.

Thanks men !! Yeah Rob I have a monster in the front yard that has previously spat out branches and taken the power to our house and the neighbours, we the wind howls (like it was this morning) I look at it nervously !!!

I am from Sydney too and copping it here too like no tomorrow. I love this weather as long as i dont have to work!

KNICE KNIFE / GREAT PICS!!! Congrat's Andy!

I wish it was raining here right now. We just wrapped up 2 looooooooong and HOT days on the range. Body armor doesn't have ANY cooling properties!!!

I hear you on that mate.... vests and gas masks (plus liberal doses of CS) in summer always make for a fun midday adventure !!

Well Andy... for a man born with a classic Ash in each hand....how do you like the new ergo feel??

It is a really nice blade in hand !!! It could easily be "the one" for many people !!! It won't displace an ASH for me of course ;) but it is a wonderful tool !!! I have had the discussion already that this is going to be very close to an INFI Chopweiler for many !!!! I won't be parting with this one anytime soon and it makes me wish I had gone for the new BMe !!

SHe is sexy, and dressed in my favorite coated color combo!!! :D

Congrats Andy!!!!!

Cool Andy -- great pic. Glad you like it and looking forward to receiving a Muddy and Black Canvas SHe.

Apart from the blade length differences, do you prefer the straight handle of the ASH-1 to the Ergo II?

ASH handle for me each and every time. I get that from me that is probably almost a cliche now but it is my personal preference and why I choose to own "a couple" of ASH1s. That all said, the Ergo handle is truly unique and comfortable and is getting very very close to being my second favourite - very fast ! The trick is to have it in hand for a bit bit before forming an opinion. On first brush I was a bit non-plus'ed but in a little time it truly grows on you.

Very cool! Sweet pic of an awesome score!
