First off what exactly is "concealex" and how does it compare to kydex for neck knife sheath material? Secondly any opinions on carbon fibre handles vs G10, zytel, ect.?

I'm pretty sure "concealex" is the same thing as "secure-ex" which are pretty good polymer sheaths. It's not quite as good as kydex, but it's also not bad at all, unless you like grinding your edge against the sheath when you draw a knife.

I think G10 is the best and most practical handle material, but my favorite is probably titanium. It has a really nice feel to it, and is incredibly strong, but the same can be said for G10. Carbon fiber is a VERY close second, for me, but is a lot more expensive than G10, but so is titanium.
Zytel and other glass reinforced nylons are very practical and inexpensive, but some people don't like their polymer feel. I'm not one of those, but I still prefer other handle materials.
Also consider micarta. It's a lot like G10. Feels really nice while also providing an excellent grip, unless polished, in which case it'll look spectacular.
