sheat for nimravus?

Do you mean the first generation Nimravus's or do you mean the newer ones?

I have the first generation one. I find that the Kydex isn't tight enough to hold the knife as securely as I'd like. I use mine mainly for when I go hiking and camping. The sheath isn't great for this.

That sheath is designed for IWB and SOB carry. More the 'urban' sheath than it is for the outdoors IMHO.

I have the earlier sheath. I like it. I bought the knife for IWB carry. I took the sheath apart and removed the belt loop. I then put a metal belt clip on it I had from an old cheapie IWB PPK holster, and screwed the whole thing back together. I was surprised by how well the whole thing turned out. It looks like it came from the factory that way. It has enough resistance to hold the knife in, but not enough it make for a difficult "draw". Plus, its super thin and light. I usually carry folders, but this is a nice option if you want to discreetly carry something a little bigger.

Actualy I mean those newer, I did find something about first generation, but nothing about newer one. I'm thinking about this knife for small camping knife or EDC, but befor I buy one I'd like to hear something about this sheat, looks interesting, but is realy good?

design is awkward and fit is poor...

Love the knife (have three)threw the sheaths away. Had a sheath made from River City Sheaths. This blade begs for a custom sheath. Mine is a fold over pouch with a mini tek lok. Sorry no pics!

Another good sheath maker is Survival Sheath Systems.

These guys have the knife so you can order a sheath without sending the blade. Turn around time varies.

Do you have the contact info. for those sheath makers? I bought a 140HS and you're right, the knife is great but the sheath sucks bigtime. I'd like something that allows for inverted carry with a horizontal tek-lok (attaching this to my wader's shoulder strap).
Thanks,

Mac
