I have a Kydex belt sheath from azwelke for my EDC1. I absolutely love it. I also would like a pocket sheath and am looking at JouFuu. I wear 5.11 pants daily and pocket carry in the very front pocket but the Kydex sheath is too wide as it’s a pancake sheath. What does the crowd that daily carries say?

I meant to post this a while ago and I completely forgot about it. The most comfortable pocket sheath I have for ANY of my fixed blades is a sheath that was made by Lorien Lorien . I'm a small guy and the DEK1 completely disappears in my pocket. I don’t like pocket sheaths with a clip. I can’t stand having a couple inches+ of knife handle sticking up out of my pocket.

I like the sheath Lorien made so much I'm actually trying to figure out how I can have a couple of similar sheaths made for knives that I'd rather not risk shipping to canada.

BTW, if you want really small form factor, Lorien Lorien came up with a great idea: attach a string to the end of the sheath, and the string with a clip to your pocket.

So when you pull the knife, you can’t loose the sheath. Works very well, have it now on multiple knives. I’m sure any leather or Kydex maker here can accommodate this.

sorry, I don't mean to be contrarian, especially when I get such nice props, but I can't take credit for inventing this feature.
I've heard it called a static lanyard. It works extra super well for iwb, but with a little hook like that can work pretty great for pocket carry. Maybe even less obtrusive than a steel or ti clip.

I have developed a sheath for the EDC series, it's somewhere in my subbie if you want to check them out.

Brian- it is expensive to ship knives to Canada from the US, due to customs and handling fees both ways, but over the many years of shipping knives back and forth across the border I have yet to experience a loss. Knock on wood!

I often used this method of retention with what I ordinarily wore as neck knives when I carried them in my pocket...going back to the 90's.

The handles are made with CITES protected rosewood so it’s a more worry of the knives being seized at the border. :(

Wanna come stay in Washington for a week? 😂
