Sheath against skin

Got a person who wants a knife that can strap onto his leg, under his trousers.

I use veggie tanned leather and Fiebings leather dye, then followed by a coating of satin sheen.

What I would like to know is, will this stuff wear off onto the person skin after a while, and is it safe? I don't want to make the person ill.

Should I do a bees wax thing?

Any advice is welcome.

Unless he has some unusual allergy to the dye or the Satin Sheen it should be okay. Obviously he will strap it near the ankle unless he wants too take his pants off to get to the knife. Wearing longer socks should take care of any problem.

Be sure and check to see his Mall Ninja card is current.
