Sheath alternatives for BK16 and BK16 blade question

Will the BK16 fit into the hard plastic and/or leather sheaths for the 3/4 F/U? I have the MK1 with kraton handle and plastic sheath, but that blade looks wider to me. Is the blade on the BK16 closer in height (edge to spine) to the MK1 or 3/4 Short?

I think I've read that they will not fit the 3/4 or MK1, but I'm not positive about that.

Like you said, it doesn't look like they'll work just based off looks.

We both tried it.

It don't fit, the blade is too wide. MK1 is more narrow, so, obviously it fits in the BK16 sheath, which is badass.

You'll find the Spartan Sheaths fit alot of Kabar's too, all the three quarters, MKI, Classic hunters, and others. Plus, they have multi cam.

Are those spartan sheaths modifiable to fit a BK2 or no? If not I still have a good use for them (see the second thread I started, it's a rebuild of a butcher knife), but it won't be as urgent.
