Sheath and handle question

HOw solvent resistant is the sheath and handle of a kabar bk2? Reason i ask is because i got a slight overspray on it (forgot knives where near my paint station :mad: ) and now i have some sparkly spots...mainly on the sheath..

what could i use to get it off...it looks dumb

all your help is appreciated
 
They now make a canvas handle for the becker, it costs around 40 bucks, I have one on mine, I like it much better than the stock handle, much better grip even when wet.
 
what about paint thinner? i am really HATING the sparkle...and i dont want to change the grips...good sugs tho!
