I made my sheath yesterday, I did not dye the interior. I made sure the glue was dry, stitched it up and let it sit for a few hours. I then put my knife in it over night. When I woke up this morning, I took a look at it and forward area of the spine now has this new yellowish tinge in it.
The steel is 1080, and I know the interior of the sheath was not wet. I'm really hoping no moisture got stuck in there.
Has anyone had this happen, or know what I can do to prevent it in the future?
