Considering these sheaths for my FBM and Mud Razor. Anyone care to share their thoughts? Thanks.

Sheath comparison Semper Paratus and Spec Ops

im not sure spec ops makes a sheath large enough for the fbm.
i bought one for my hhfsh, and tried to mold the kydex, it was about a half inch too narrow. gave me fits!!! i ended up cutting half off the long way and now only have kydex between my leg and the knife. im pretty sure that the fsh willl eventually cut its way through the nylon and my sheath will be trash.
go with the semper. it will be fitted.

You'd need something like the RTAK sheath for hte FBM.
I like teh OLD style Spec-Ops sheath with the single MOLLE connector that went all the way down. Whats up with this new design is beyond me. You can't lash it to any MOLLE webbing on a pack or something. It has loops, but they are 90 degrees to the std looping. It'll go on a MOLLE belt OK, but it'll flop around on anything else.
SP probably has a distinct edge versus the current Spec-Ops sheath. (I did score 2-3 of the old-style a while ago b/c no vendor wanted them anymore. OK. I'll take a few.
My Mud Razor fits great, as do some other blades.)

JurT is that the shorter Spec-Ops?? I have mine in the longer one.... I don't currently have a shorter one but I could

Ken, no that's the long version. The shorter model won't fit a MR/HR/SFNO.

Whoops, got confused by rt014's thread with a Semper Paratus FBM sheath. So if I guess it comes down to whether I want a sheath that fits my MR like a glove or one with less than perfect fit that I'll be able to use with other knives?
