I have a hard project. My blade is a sword at 18 inches. how do I make the scabbard curve if i am kydexing a katana or ginunting?
 
Practice with a ply/mdf mock up. Ive never done a long curved kydex. You might need to tape in "spacers" or slip lines, to ensure it draws smooth. Kydex can be reheated. I think a sword in kydex needs a frog or something to give thickness or grip for the left hand.
