Sheath Dulling

OK,

I keep hearing about the glass filled nylon sheaths dulling the blades.
Here is a cheap and easy solution.

1: Hit a hardware store, buy a cheap set of files that includes a small diameter triangular file.
2:Take said triangular file and insert it into the sheath (when you have your knife elsewhere) with the "Edge" of the triangle facing down, just like your blade edge would.
3:In and out with reasonable pressure along the seam where your knife edge would rub (shouldn't take more than 10-15 min tops)
4:Check your blade by inserting and removing it and see if it still rubs in the seam. If it does rinse and repeat Steps 2-4

Voila, your knife should no longer dull in the sheath.

Now we dont need a whaaaambulance or anything, your welcome....

But my sheath rattles still! :p Just kidding. Nice how to, probably the most helpful post about stock sheaths I've seen!

Edit: FIRST!

That'll work ST. You can wrap some 220 around a nail file (or similar) too.

I just sharpened my BK11, dulled mainly by the sheath. I'm gonna try this. Thanks.
