Hi ya'll sorry if this has been covered before but... does anyone have a recommendation for a good sheath/maker for an 18" FF machete? Kydex/leather, whatever just something functional and not too ridiculously expensive.
All input is appreciated.
Edit: just browsed the stickies and it looks like I should give HJE leather a try...any feedback from thoe who've gotten one of his machete sheaths?

I don't have one of Herber's machete sheaths but i have several of his knife sheaths. I can say he does exceptional work. Really nice guy as well.

I have a 12" machete sheath from Heber. It's phenomenal. Mine is the foldover version with retainer strap. I couldn't be happier with it.

i don't have a Heber machete sheath, but have another one of his sheath and it is awesome. I will be buying one of his machete sheaths as soon as I get a unicorn (12" Fiddleback machete).

Thanks guys, I sent him an email.

Got your email and responded. :)

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Bear71, that sheath is one of my favorites. I love how the natural leather ages and yours has some cool natural character that is standing out more and more. I really need to do some more natural sheaths when Fiddleback has another batch of Machetes out.

I've got a few machette sheaths from Heber, 12", 14", and 16". They are all excellent!

FYI, sorry for the mung, but Heber also does a great Camp knife sheath based on the machete pattern.
