Sheath for a Becker Necker BK-11

I just received the Becker Necker (BK-11) in the mail. I like the knife, however, the sheath that it came with does not hold the knife. Let's just say that I cannot take the chance of wearing it with the blade handle down if I like all the parts of my lower anatomy.
I was wondering if I should go through the hassle of trying to get a replacement from Ka-Bar, (Who have not responded to my emails yet) or buy a new sheath or if I felt handy, make one.

Any recommendations.

perhaps you could heat the existing sheath with a hair dryer, or such (without the knife in place), then insert the knife, and gently squeeze the opening shut and a suitable pinch point? kydex is fun that way, but i'm not sure if they are using kydex or other suitable thermoplastic.

Yup, any Kydex sheath I have owned has been easily adjusted by simply applying hair dryer heat, then pinching to suit your deployment needs.
