New user here...I have a BM Bali mod. 42 and a new purchase..a BM Rufus.
A beautiful knife and one I carry daily since after 15 years with my bali, I finally chickened out because of Texas' ban on them.

My problem is that the Rufus is too big to carry in my pocket comfortably. I may have to get a leathersmith make me a horizontal sheath like the one I have for the 42. Unless someone knows about a ready made one that's good for a knife that size.

BTW, the S30V steel is awesome, from the factory it's scary sharp! I'm beginning to wonder if I shouldn't have gone with the jr. version of the Rufus...Thanks..

Rufus? Is that a special Texas version of the Rukus? :D Rufus just doesn't have that same ring...doesn't sound as fearsome, does it?

Hey, I don't blame him. BM misspelled Ruckus, and he's just looking for the closest correct name to their error. :D

I'm beginning to feel that there may only be one way out....Rukus..how sharp is thy blade....?:)

Hey, I've got an uncle Rufus:) To get a horizontal sheath, with I assume, an open top, then your best bet would probably be to get a sheath exactly for it. It is hard to beat a well made leather sheath! If you do, I'd like to see it. The Rukus is one of my favorites and in my pocket as I type.
