Is there anyone who currently makes a sheath for this or are my options to send it in or go spec-ops?

Kydex or leather, makes no difference to me.

Thanks, I'll shoot him an email... Just didn't see if on his knife list. This is good because I've like his work in pics and he's got a good following around here.

Yup! I'm another very satisfied customer..... He can hook you up if you need a gun holster too

If you don't mind sending your knife in Mashed Kat is great and so is JGDesigns. You will get a better fit by sending your specific blade in because no two are exactly alike.

I have you covered. E-mailed you back.

I do have the Hollow Ground Parked regulator in house.

As far as fit goes, these are pretty much exactly the same, as are most standard Busse, Swamp rat, and Scrapyard knives these days.
I do use spacers and other trade secrets to give a little wiggle room to make them fit great.

Thank you to those who recommended me :)

"Pretty much" and "Identical" are two different things. I was just saying for a "Perfect" fit with out wiggle it would be best to send in. I owned two Parked Regulators and the swedge on one was slightly thicker. Whether it be David Brown kydex, Okuden, Mashed Kat, JGDesigns, TJ's kydex, Trex Kydex are all great options! I was just making optional suggestions.

We all know Busse Swamp Rat and the Scrapyard make the ¡BEST! Fixed blades of any MFG and I wouldn't have it any other way

Agreed, sending your own knife will always result in a better fit. Most of us benders do the best we can to make sure you get the best sheaths available too, without sending the knife.

Thanks everyone.

Your help has been fruitful while Google was very little help.

I went with Brown (no slight to mashed cat, their product is also quite good, have one for a rodent 6 IIRC).

I agree that sending a specific example in can result in a more exact fit, but that particular criterion wasn't weighted as heavily as "less hassle to obtain while being of good quality build" in this case.

I'll let you know what I think when I get it.

Got the sheath, am very pleased with it. Oozes quality.

Not to mention it got here FAST!!

Thanks and I'll post pics when the knife gets here (by the end of the week).

Thank you for the kind words :)

And thank you Eric, part of you went in to the sheath, it has one of your Danglers on it :)

Eric does great work too he is one of the good guys.

BUMP

My favorite two Res-C handles are the Regulator and the War Dog (also used on the B4.

Regulator for bigger knives and War Dog for smaller knives.

B8 would be gr8 with Regul8er Res-C.

So, as promised.....I have pix. Knife showed up a day early, so here you go.

A mini-review.

Sheath fits knife like a glove. No rattling, secure retention but not death grip. Not sure what else to say except: Mr. Brown, you make an outstanding sheath.

The dangler attachment is also quite nice. I especially appreciate the attention to detail that was put into this piece. Nice that the o-ring is black, thanks for that Eric. Also, thank you for putting the fabric side of the velcro on the inside so that my belt doesn't smash the hook part during carry. It's also super easy to get on and off without taking my belt off (which is a PITA as I have a variety of things attached to it at any given time).

100% satisfied in both the blade and the accessories. In all honesty, I might like this regulator more than my rodent 6. The parked finish is interesting for sure. The res-c is nice. Grippy but not squishy. I wasn't sold on it before I tried, but I am now. People weren't lying about how "pointy" it was either. The pictures belie the actual size, but I imagine "big knife" means a bit of a different thing on this forum. Besides my kukri, it's my largest knife.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your work.

Awesome! Old D.B. is the shizzle when it comes to kydex. I've got 7 or 8 sheaths from him, and they all are impeccable. Heck of a nice guy to boot!
