Ive just finished my new sheath for a skookum bushtool ordered by a dutch buschrafter.
He asked me to make a horizontal wearable sheath with a fire steel loop and a pocket to the Fallkniven DC3 sharpener.
I tried to use (mixed) nearly the same colour on the sheath like the knifes handle.
The sheath maximaly can be taken to pieces, and can be reversed what makes the combined carrying possible.
The materials :
Sheath : 4mm thick veg-tanned cow leather
Sharpener pocket: 2,5 mm thick veg tanned cow leather
Belt loops : 4 mm thick cow (belt) leather with Chicago screws
Paint: Mixed colour (two types of brown & red)
Finish: Linseed-oil & beeswax
