So after months of waiting in list for my Lost Mountain sheath it seems that it will take even longer for it to be delivered... they went out of business.

Any sheath recommendation? Hopefully something I dont have to wait longer than mother nature takes to create a human child and a price range that doesn't require selling a kidney.:p
Cordura would be better but at this point I just want a sheath.

I'm sad to hear about Lost Mountain, it was looking like quite the opportunity for them, but I did wonder how they were making any money charging what they were. I guess they weren't. :(

The only other maker of nylon I know of is Semper Peratus Tactical(sp?) Dan puts together an awesome rig.

Buy Brown. I have one and love it. Buybrownholsters.com

His name is David Brown he is a regular on here. He has great prices, and quick turn around. For kydex.

Azwelke on this forum as well make a great sheath out of kydex. I have owned one of his as well, and was very impressed for the money!

Mashed Cat sheaths often offers sheath direct from bussecompanystore.com. I have owned two and miss them (sold the knives and sheaths).

There is also Okuden, not sure how long his turn around is.

Lots of custom leather makers here as well.

Chuddy bear,

Leather Man,

Mikeymoto

and another double handful I am forgetting all make great sheaths.

+1 on the Mashed Cat, I've bought a half dozen or so from him (including one for a BWM) and he does great, fast work, usually receive them within a week.

My Mashed Cat sheaths have ALL been perfect. I really like the opening at the bottom for its useful style.

Rainwalker makes some cool kydex drop loops ("SKDL" and "SKDS") that I like as well as the kydex X-Loop. He has also made some cool blade covers for various tomahawks for me.

Another idea for something quick and low-cost is the 10" cordura nylon sheath from the Scrap Yard Knives website.

I checked, and it fits the BWM pretty well.
