Hi all,
Have a couple folding hunters 5 1/4" folded. One a Queen #39 and the other a Western that is the same size.
Have been looking for sheaths for these, preferably nylon with velcro flap or a good leather sheath that fit.
Have tried a couple but both were cheaply made and did not fit well. One from India and one from China.
I normally don't buy that cheap junk but it's all I could find.
Anyone know of a nice sheath or options to get one that will fit these older folding hunters?
The Western was my dads knife and I would love to use it.
Thanks,
George

A sheath for a Buck 110 should work, otherwise there are plenty of fine craftsmen here who could make something for you.

Blade HQ carries several leather sheaths for 5 1/4" folders. I am personally partial to weaved leather for vintage classics.

I found a Case sheath for a folding hunter at Smokey Mountain Knives. Hope this helps.

Thanks all! I must have been overlooking them. Think I'll head in the direction of one poster above ;)

I like the big 2 blade folding hunters like the Case 6265. My preferred sheath for them is an open top pancake. I've found that sheaths of this design made for the Buck 110 fit great. The leather Buck sheath with the snap flap won't fit as the Buck is a little shorter than the 5 1/4" slip joint folding hunter. There are also sheaths with a flap top made for the big slip joints, just search on the evil bay for sheaths for a Case 6265. You should have no problem finding a nice sheath.
