It's been a little while since I posted anything. Here's one I made for myself.

The knife is a Jerry Hossom Hunter Killer, it's in line to get it's bolsters engraved by Jody Muller.

I figured an engraved knife deserves a carved sheath, so this was my latest attempt:

Then all finshed up:

I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, and as always I learned a few things along the way. It felt good to get back in the garage (shop) a bit. The weather is starting to break a little, so maybe I'll get back to bending more leather :)

Nice work and very tastefully done. Your design flows well.
Can't wait to see it next to the engraved bolsters.

Xaman,

Did you just use a swivel knife and an edge beveler?

Also, isn't it funny that in Texas we WAIT for this time of year to get INTO our shops - when many of the people that post on this board are coming OUT of their shops this time of year! ;)

Yeah, that's all I have... I've been wanting to take one of thoe free classes at Tandy sometime to learn about the different tools. I know there's a way to get more 3-D effect, just need to find the free Saturday to make it happen.

About the shop, I need to invest in A/C

Excellent work! I really need to practice on some tooling...you really did a great job!

Thanks for the compliments :)

Eli,

I have it in my garage - drive down to Houston (Katy actually) and chill.... get it... chill?

;)
