My Kerambit is beautiful, has sharpened up very nicely  , but the sheath leaves a bit to be desired.

It does lend itself to decent IWB carry, let me know if you don't know how.

But, a different, more usable sheath would be a good thing. What have some of you done to re-sheath your Kerambits?

Thanks,

Andy

Don Koster did a very nice brown leather sheath for my kerambit a little over a year ago. Basically, he took the standard 'bit sheath design and stitched a belt loop at roughly a 45 degree angle across the width of the sheath...if that makes sense. it lends itself to a number of ways to slide it on your belt for several styles of draws. I think there was a tutorial on it sometime ago if you do a search.

that sheath leatherface made looks really nice... and so does the job on the wood...

this thread makes me even more excited to be getting my kerambit...
might have to have a cool sheath made and maybe the handle worked on... we'll see once I get it.

Um. I've got one here for a great friend. I'll be rescaling it (cracks) and then resheathing it. I'll sew something up out of leather, but I think kydex would do an admirable job too.
