I have a naked MOASH coming my way and need a sheath for it. Are there any production sheaths that fits a MOASH? Are there any sheath makers that has a blank for it?

Thanks :)

I've got an FNMOASH in the shop working on an incredibly complex sheath (to the owner: honest, its coming back home soon, I promise :o )

But, if its a standard MOASH, then it has the same lines as the HOGFSH so the makers with a HOGFSH and the right handle scales should be able to pull it off.

Gotta pic? That would help a lot. :)

Same pic I just posted in another thread. Rightmost knife is a MOASH. Sheaths are Leatherman's usual excellent work.

how do you post the same pic in more then one thread? i tried to do that and it said "you`ve already posted this pic in another thread"

You go to the original thread, click Edit, and then go in and copy the Image file. Go back to your new thread and click Edit and copy the image file in your new post. Hope that helps.

Depends on where the photo resides, maybe?

If you're using an image hosting software like photobucket, you can just pasted the forum link (the one with the commands) into any thread.

The photo above actually is on some Earthlink server space, I just used the [IMG] commands around the URL. Same principle. You can put it anywhere.

This is the one. Haven't got it yet... should arrive sometime next week. I want a very simple sheath with the same kind of strap as Guyon's MOASH sheath. Or a kydex sheath similar to the Mad Dog ATAK sheath. Or, lastly, some kind of production nylon sheath (spec-ops, mercworx etc.) but i'm not sure there are any with enough room to house a .4" thick kydex insert.

rt014, does that sheah have a pin that goes through the talon hole? If so, the only other sheath I've seen like that is on a Blackjack Magnum Camp (I have two).

peter469, you are going to love that knife. I think it is my favorite Busse.

Makes sense. The Magnum Camp has a hole in the blade, and the pin actually goes through that hole.

You know what I stand corrected. The pin goes right behind the choil where the choil meets the blade.

Here it is... arrived today!

Stunning! Lighter and far more managable than i thought! Now all it needs is some pants :D
