Sheath For Northwest Ranger?

I was wondering whether there is a rigid kydex sheath available "off the shelf" for the SOG Northwest Ranger?

BFC member Normark makes excellent kydex sheaths and he makes sheaths for the NW Ranger as well

Hi Vulthoom,

Sorry, no off-the-shelf Kydex sheath for the NW Ranger. The Kydex sheaths are for our tactical knives. The Ranger is a field knife and a leather sheath better fits the "spirit" of the knife.

Yes, look up Normark (Eric) at On-Scene Tactical for outstanding custom Kydex sheaths and even better customer service.

My almost ideal user knife would be a NW Ranger with a plain edge and in BG-42 or VG-10. How about it Ron? Any chance? Anybody else think this would be a good idea?

How about this?



It's our new BG-42 Field Knife. Similar blade shape to the Ranger, with a Recondo handle. Target release is this coming fall.

No "official" name, but we are leaning toward the X-42 Field Knife.
