Do you use the stock kydex sheath or what for your RC-6 in the woods? What have you all found to be the most comfortable way to carry it on your person, not on a pack?

Pics are more than welcome.

Thanks in advance!

I use the stock sheath and I use paracord to strap low on my belt on the side, its okay but I prefer strapping it to my pack.
I have even used it several times directly in my jeans pocket with the sheath and I only have the handle sticking out but when raising the leg high it gets in my way.

Taking the size into account the best way is to make yourself a belt loop.

I'm eventually going to have a low ride leather sheath made. The stock sheath doesn't work with my hip-belt on my pack. For now the RC-5 gets all of the camping duties.

I carry it in the stock sheath on my pack, but when I have it on my person I just make paracord belt loops for it.

I'm getting a leather sheath made for it. It doesn't seem to be designed to be worn on a belt, which is a shame.

There will be an optional dropdown attachment for it at some point in the future. :)

Here is the regular carrry sheath I use. It's a spec ops short sheath and it works great.

that's mine. i carry it in my bag however.....i'm too short to carry it. it would probably drag on the ground.:o

We're getting close on finishing the MOLLE back for the RC-6 molded sheath as well as the simple belt attachment.

Wow, for a first attempt i can only hope to be as successful!:D I am waiting for my RC-6 to arrive. When it does i am thinking about creating a leather sheath for the knife, very simular to the one you have there, although i would like it to have a jump-proof snap or some type of loop to insure that it does not fall out. I rockclimb and am into repeling so i dont want to lose my only knife. im sure you can understand.
so please if you have any pointer that you learnt from your building of that sheath that you believe would be benificial to me...do tell.
thanks!

I really like the stock RC6 sheath, but I carry mone in a sm. Spec Ops right now. That will change once the drop attachment is available!
