This is the sheath for the 8" D2 blade buffalo horn knife I posted here in the gallery. I jazzed it up with a concho that has a steer skull with barbed wire around it, two horse hair tassles and a cast bear claw to give it a frontier, old west look. What did ya think? Thanks for looking.

Great looking package Scott.I always appreciate a little extra effort made with a nice sheath.

That's pretty cool. You should do a knife with a stag handle with copper or brass dome head pins with a mirror polish carbon blade; then finish the blade with an aged looking patina. Then do a sheath like that with fringe. Kind of like Dan Winkler/Karen Shook would do it but with the knife in your style. I think it would really be slick.

Thanks everyone. :) I like the idea of the conchos. It's simple to attach them and Tandy has a huge selection of them. UnixDork, that's a good idea. ;) A large blade in O1 with a blued blade and stag would look awesome with the old west look of the sheath. If I get some "free" time, I'll have to put one together. Orders are picking up somewhat so it may be awhile.
