Had a couple of emails asking about upgrades for the sheaths posted earlier. Thought maybe the best way would be to show some of my work. Most of the things seen here could be incorporated into any thing I make. This is kinda like shopping at the car store. May not need'em, but sure would look nice!

I can, and have, done wet form pouch sheaths. Would do one if a customer asked for that feature. I am curious about the need for wet forming. Is it looks or do you feel it's an advantage in blade retention? It's sure not that I see anything "wrong" in doing a wet form, just want to understand the thinking better.

Thanks Tal, that means a lot to me! I've really enjoyed going through your wip's and have a healthy respect for what you do and how you do it. On top of that, they've given me thoughts on how to make some aspects of my work easier.
All but the last one of those pictured were for knives that I made. That last chute knife was done by Steven Rapp.

Thanks DD! That's a mexican loop style and could be done to fit your Bourbon Street Skinner.:)

I love these sheaths Rick! Nice work! You can see Sandy.
