This is for the CRKT 1st Strike (sallest size). I don't have the knife anymore but I'm considering buying one again only to fill this sheath. I wet molded the leather and used USMC black Fiebing's(sp?) dye. Has great retention even upside down carry, the turk's head knot really snaps into the sheath and holds well. The cut out is for decorative purposes to show the mirror polish I put on the knife. The snap is to attach an IWB loop which is also long gone. I've done leathercraft since I was 11 but I do less and less since as I haven't the need. Since I buy folders primarily, I rarely do any stitching but I haven't lost the touch.
