I had someone ask me to make a sheath for their GL Drew Hand Axe. I kind of pulled my hair out as I'm not the most experienced sheath maker, but for better or worse here it is

Totally functional, and elegant. Nice work. I made a similar one for my Snow & Neally Hudson's Bay ax, but not as classy.

Looks good, thanks for posting. I'm just getting into sheath making so it's nice to see what other people are doing.

Thanks for the comments guys! I know it's been said many times, but I now understand why leathersmiths charge what charge cause it's a lot of work! This axe was hard because of the irregular shape, and I ended up making 4 others designs before trashing them. I imagine once someone gets some automation going after the initial successful design they wouldn't have to work so hard, but doing a one off tired me out lol. Cheers to the pro leathersmiths!
