Here's the Bushcraft style sheath I have been making for my Bravo1, it came out OK. I like it better than the Kydex, although the Kydex sheath has warmed up on me just a bit...well, I thought you guys might like to see it.
I included a pic of a Ka-Bar that I got from Raindog101, when I got it it was all there but had seen alot of years of hard use. As you guys know, these are some tough knives, I simple made it more user friendly for bushcraft type applications. I filed off the back of the gaurd, stripped the knife of the last of the finish and some minor spots, stripped the leather spacers and refinished them with layers of neatsfoot oil and dye. I blunted the tip a little, just to thicken it up, and then resharpened it. And finally, buffed and oiled the hole thing and put a razors edge on the blade. I am working on a pouch sheath for this one, it will also have a firesteel loop, as I on a firesteel loop kick on all my sheaths. Anyways, thought you might like this stuff, as with all my stuff right now, it is all about the Bush...
