Sheath Idea?

Since homelessness now seems inevitable due to my Busse addiction, I have been trying to decide the best way to hang on to a couple while roaming the streets gathering aluminum cans. I can wear the AD, but want to keep a larger blade as well.

Leatherman or Pro, can you rig something for my Fusion Bowie to hang on the rear of a shopping cart, so that the handle is readily accessible from the pushing position? Should be handy for dogs and such.

I feel your pain! But it seems if you only need to carry the AD and the Fusion Bowie your addiction can't be too bad :p

I only use 2 sheaths makers... Dwayne for the leather and Brian for the kydex... They both work sooooooooooooo good on my babies...:D
 
I got some ideas!:D I can make on of those round bottom tactical sheaths with all the lashing holes and straps. Just strap that beast inverted so when your asleep under the cart and some tramp comes to steal your stuff you'll have quick access!:eek: You've got to safeguard your fridge box summer home so some industrial velcro on the sheath and the wall and you've got instant knifeage!:cool: Oh yea, and a great tool for cutting designer windows for ventilation.

I'll wrap a hundred or so feet of paracord around the sheath for tripwire making, and general lashing of the summer home in case of sudden rainshowers, and ya gotta tie up the cart when not in use so it doesnt just "walk away";) Of course the manditory fire steel and EZ Lap hone pouches as well as loops for the giant spoon that all homeless end up with:confused:

Did I miss anything?:D

I think I can rig something similar to what Dwayne came up with, except how about a spare made in kydex? With all the time you are going to spend out side, UV, rain, wind, dust and other assorted things are going to take their toll on that leather. You are going to want a spare for sure. Now just send the bowie to me and I will get this thing done, then when I am done I promise to send it to Dwayne for his expert attention in leather. I suppose you could just talk me into doing both, then it would only be in transit once...er...twice. Once from you to me and then once from me to you, of course. :D

Now SEND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would never do that to a fellow hog.

Now if it were to come up missing due to a failure in shipping, then I would surely offer my sincere condolances. I would even give him a knife to use until the bowie could be replaced or found.

What can I say? I'm a frigging giver man!
