Hey fellow INFI-holics!. :thumbup:

I am just about ready to pull the trigger on an FFBM. The more I fondle this thing (the knife that is :p) the more I like it. Just a beast. Anyway, I have gone through the search feature here and found a little of what I am looking for but thought I'd just ask more specifically to help speed things along. So I need a little sheath input, and hopefully pics, for two specific knives.

(1) FFBM: leather, kydex, other.

(2) BATAC SE: Kydex. (I already have a spec-ops. I am looking for as slim a profile as possible. I love leather but they tend to be a bit thicker).

I would recommend a Rainwalker leather sheath for the FFBM but I am a bit of Rainwalker fanboy...lol.

I would definitely have to second that one Zu, I have him working on 5 leather sheaths for my Busses right now. He is very versatile, has great pricing, will do pretty much whatever is asked for as far as design goes and is generally a great guy to do business with.

I currently have another HOG's CG FBM with a custom leather sheath. Just out of curiosity I tried to put the FFBM in the CG FBM sheath and it did not fit. That's why I am interested in seeing pics of sheaths that people knofe for sure will fit the fatty. The same story with my BATAC SE.

Are you looking for something off the shelf? Or made to fit?

I looked at the styles that were out there and picked one. Then, had one mad in the style I liked for my particular blade size.

If you're looking for off the shelf, I've heard the the Dog Father sheath fits it... and I believe the RTAK sheath fits it as well.
 
I just ran across a post that said the dog father sheath will not fit the FBM LE...
so I guess that one's out for the fatties.

I have not yet found a off the shelf sheath that fits a FFBM. If anybody finds one... please post here and let us know. Any sheath that fits a FBMLE will fit a FFBM because they are from the same blank. I have a Chuddy Bear sheath for my FBMLE and FFBM that I am very happy with.

I think the FFBM deserves a leather sheath.

Don't know which leather makers can make one for you without having your knife as a template -- but you can find out with a few e-mails! :D

As you know, the FFBM is a very serious knife, so make sure the style of sheath is appropriate for that much steel.

Maybe Skunk has an opinion?? Skunk -- calling Skunk.
 
I doubt Chuddy would need a template. I believe he has a FFBM at home. This one is a Chuddy - made for the FBMLE but it holds the FFBM and CGFBM (shown) just fine.
