Stupid question....what is the lanyard for on the OPK's sheaths up by the belt loop? I've seen this on sheaths for Randall knives as well and always wondered...

I can answer for the Randall sheaths, the lower "lanyard" or thong, is to secure the sheath to your leg to keep it from flopping around, and the upper, generally removed, is to secure the knife when not expecting to use it immediately. As far as the OPK's , I'm not sure,,, Bart
