:) I'm in the process of making a knife for a friend of mine who's son is going to Irag. I'm donating the knife, but my question is. What type of sheath should would a soldier need. All I make are leather pouch type sheaths as most of my knives are hunters. I was thinking of maybe trying to find someone to make a kydex or web type sheath. Any thoughts from anyone who has some expertise in this area would certainly be appreciated.
 
I would say kydex seeing that they can be rinsed out easy and wont hold water..

If you haven't already checked out On/Scene Tactical you might give him a shout and see if he has what ya need...
He may be tied up but it is worth a shot..

There are a couple of people here that may help. Buy Brown and Chiro75 are the two that I remember. Other members may know more.
