Sheath Makers For Nuclear Air Rescue Knife

Greetings Busse Knife Lovers:

Does anyone out there feel my pain?

I have had my NARK going on three months without a sheath. I was told that the sheath makers have not yet received the proper template from Busse.

Please advise on the web site of any sheath maker who has the correct NARK template.

I am reluctant to mail my knife to a sheath maker, especially across the Canada-US border.

Thanks for your consideration and help.

when in doubt - call the dwaynster (aka Sir Leatherman)

he is simply the man !!
 
Dwayne recently advertised a NARK sheath on the Sale forum, so he must have some kind of template. I believe that the sheath being advertised has sold, though.
 
I agree, Dwayne is a great leatherman ;) . If you aren't into leather look into the plastic pimp, David Brown. Here's a couple of pics he did for my NARK.

Yes, the NARK sheath was sold to me, it should arrive tomorrow, contact Dwayne if you would like a leather sheath. I'll post a picture when it arrives and let you know how it looks.

Yup, I got mine too, as far as I know all us "official" sheathmakers have the NARK's now. Most of us even have the Meaner Streets now too! :eek: :eek: :eek: ;) Is it time to start pestering Jerry for the Steel Heart yet? :p I might have a pic of that NARK sheath around here somewhere.....I'll be back :)
 
Kenny Rowe is making three NARK leather sheaths for me right now!!! So I know he has a NARK!!! If you want leather, he is the one of the best.
 
Its good to hear Kenny got his as well! :D:D please post pics when they arrive, I love to drool over his work. I got to meet him at the last Central Texas Knife Show down here in Austin, super nice fella, and a great craftsman.

I just got a kydex/leather EU17 sheath from Dwayne and I couldn't be happier with it. Nice fit and as overbuilt as the Busse riding in it. I feel your pain, my eu17 was naked this whole winter 'till Dwayne delivered the goods. I would highly recommend leatherman to anyone looking to compliment their bomb-proof Busse with a bomb-proof sheath.

Yes, all of us leather guys got NARCs -- if ever a Busse knife deserved a hard use sheath, the NARC is one of them :D
