Looking to have a sheath made for a kukri I just got in the mail and Im not sure how this works...

hopefully someone here still makes them and can help me out on this

Pugs75 makes BEAUTIFUL leather, and there are a couple of guys making kydex (Roninsgrips and myself, that I know of)

Yeah, I looked at the stickly but its closed as a post and from last year; although Pug75 does look like he makes beaitiful sheaths, Im looking more for something cheap and practical for "A" of this thread

J W, do you know how much it would be to make a kydex sheath? The Kukri is a worker kukri an its is 15 inches overall?

I mean I am not even sure of the logistics, do I shop the khukri to the person for sizing? How much is the general cost? How long does it take? What itll look like... etc.

You do have to send the khuk out. Here are some I've done:image.jpgimage.jpg
I think most guys charge $75 and up for big kydex. You should try making it yourself, if it's a worker. Kydex is pretty forguving as long as you don't overheat it, and there's a lot of tutorials out there.

You can either choose one of our friends here from the above sticky thread that are known to provide excellent product and service, or post a thread in the Services Wanted thread in the knifemakers area of the Exchange. You will likely have to send the maker the piece you want the sheath made for, for proper fit.
Any specifics, including pricing should be discussed off the forum by the media of your choice.

Unfortunately, Roninsgrips has let his membership lapse and we are no longer allowed to mention or refer him work, because of this. Only craftsmen with current supporting memberships are allowed to take orders from this site.
