Sheath makers?

I just picked up a large sebenza, and I'm thinking that it'll carry better in a belt sheath than in my pocket.

I know I've seen sheath makers for sebbies discussed here before, but my attempts to search the forum flat-out aren't working (all I get is a blank page), so I was hoping that satisfied customers of sheath makers would share some links.

My new sebbie is a mammoth ivory bark. Beautiful knife. I'm looking for something appropriate to carry it around in.

Thanks.

Have you looked at Vess leather? He makes some incredible sheaths, that would be fitting for your Sebbie.

First up is a Vess. Right handed cross draw and horizontal hold. I have one each for small and large Sebenza's.

Next is a Lifter with the same orientation

There be several here that can help you out, Vess is one that does a
very good job, and he may well have a Sebenza like yours in his stables
to use for the fitup.

In the mean time, here's a thread from a while back that lists some sheath
makers, includes their forum names, email and web site if they have one.

See this Link here

And congrats on your new Sebenza!

Thanks Derrick, I don't own one of that style of knife, so Vess might
be the better option, he has a lot of knives in his collection to use
which saves the person the worry of sending their knife out for the fitup.

Thanks for the response, guys. I've been looking over Vess' sight, and I must say my head is spinning. So many options! :)

Anyone have pics of their sheaths for their Mnandi's?

+ 1 from me too.

I have been using a William Henry and I would like something more custom.

BTW G2 - Vess puts pieces of leather on the regular sebenza to simulate the Limited Edition Sebenza. I got both Large and Small size sheath from him and they fit very well.

just different. They are a full-on, flap-top closure sheath that honestly fit my Leatherman Supertool better than anything else! Seriously, they work fine, fitting both large and small Sebs with two different snap-closures, and are of the usual outstanding Gfeller quality. They are not sleek and intended for quick-draw like the open-top, form-fitted sheaths pictured here, however.

It's all in preference!

The CRK designed sheath is quite nice, several good features
on that, the double snaps is great and it's more or less one piece
of leather, cut and folded into the sheath, I think Chris designed it
and it's a piece of engineering for sure!
