I received a sweet little kydex sheath not long ago for my SW. It was originally designed to be a necker. I have made a harness for it as well. But I most often like to carry small knives on my side. I decided to convert my necker sheath into a horizontal carry sheath. I used para-cord instead of a tech-lock to keep the sheath more combact and closer to me. I also did it in such a way so that my belt loop fits inbetween the para-cord, similar to the Spec Ops design, to keep the sheath from sliding around.

Feels really good and does not get in the way at all.:thumbup:

can't wait for my swamp warden to arrive. That's a great idea, as I'm getting a necker sheath with it.

Nice job. I got a very similar SW sheath with some paracord, and was thinking about trying something similar. That Spec-Ops thing is an excellent feature.

Looks great, now if more wardens would show up at the company store, I can try out all these great wraps and sheath ideas.

Tyrkon, show us the other side of the paracord setup. Interested in how that is tied down.

You guys let me know if it works for you. Remember to leave enough room for your belt before you tighten things up. ;) And if you need me to I can always to a quick vid for it. It might be difficult to tell what I did from the pics. Not sure. :)

Thank guys. I did something similar a while back for a Busse BA-E. The tek-lock just made it feel like it was hanging out there too much. The para-cord deal turned the kydex sheath into more of a "pancake" style sheath. Nice and close to the body. If you guys try it let me know what you think. And pics if you can. :)

Maybe you can get Eric to sell them at the store. $5 each for custom paracord in 3 colors, tan, black, and OD to match the Swamp Warden blades. ROTFL!

I did a lot of work this week and had the SW on the entire time. I even fell asleep one night with it on. (Late night). It was so cumfy I forgot it was there a few times. And of course you could wear in on the side or slide it to the middle of your lower back (scout style). Whatever works for you. ;)
