Anyone know what the attachment to the BK2 sheath is called or who makes it?

I think that is a Tek-Lok.

If you google it you will find a few different styles...
 
Looks to be some kind of attachment beneath the Tek-Lok though...
 
Tek lok on the harness piece that comes with a BK2 sheath for the belt loop. They nylon loop has been removed and a teklok put in its place.

so I found the Tek Lok, but it appears it attaches to something flat, like Kydex and not to the factory BK2 sheath

In the picture above it looks like there is something else attached

anyone know if the tek lok only works in the horizontal position or will you be able to use it in the vertical position too?

although the Tek Lok looks rectangular are the 9 holes perfectly laid out and square?

If it works one way, it will work the other, that 's the beauty of Tekloks. Tough as hell too.

that's a large sized teklok is it not? there's pictures i put up of a smaller model attached to a Gen2 BK2 sheath
