One of the great things about Busse knives is the variety of sheaths that have been made for all the various models. One of my favorites (production) is the Spec-Ops. I like adding a multi-tool or fire starter there. Could you guys post some pics of your various sheaths that have add-ons to them? I am looking for some ideas. Thanks in advanced.:thumbup:

Here are my current sheaths:

My NO-E and a kydex sheath of unknown origin. I usually like to keep this blade/sheath as low profile as possible.

My FFBM with Chuddy Bear sheath. Since this is a knife I would most likely have in my pack I am okay with adding some extras on it.

ASH1 with multi-tool in fron pouch of the Spec-Ops.

AK with an Okuden sheath. I've been thinking about attaching a smaller blade to this.

So let's see what great sheaths and sheath/mods you guys have. :D

Sorry, no pictures- yet. I am waiting for some leather to arrive. But I am planning to make a leather sheath for my FBMLE where I can easily attach my BATAC LE . I also plan to have a removable pocket containing a small emergency kit and holster on the side for a SureFire torch.

That will be my complete “jungle adventure” solution. Saying that- I have not been able to go jungle tracking for some time now, due to a wrist injury. Sure, I could still walk around in the jungle- but doesn’t make any sense if I can’t use my FBMLE! :grumpy:

Your NO-E kydex sheath, is a Normark sheath, I believe.

SJ Tac and a Semper Paratus Tactical Sheath...

I really liked the front pcket and features on this sheath, unfortunately I didn't keep this combo for very long.

I don't have this setup any more. :( And the maker said he would *NEVER* make another double layer sheath like this again. It was way too much grief getting the retention tuned on each layer. The outer layer could be removed and the inner sheath used as a normal belt sheath with a Tek-Lok.

I'll post the wife's BM-E with the Assault shaker piggy back sheath by Buy Brown later tonight when the kids are asleep and the INFI can come out to play...T minus 12 hours or so.

Seriously ugly HOG ASH pants w/pouch...

Holds most stuff I like having handy, and various attachement options
for other items if needed... A few different carry options as well.

Cheers,

That's awesome! Too bad you wore the maker out, RJ. :D

Hey, Ham...check out SurvivalSheath's forum here. He's done some pretty dope rigs with custom kydex and packs. Might find what you're looking for there, or at least get great ideas. Rob's a good guy and his work is some of the best I've seen/used.

River-8, who made that for you?

Here is a couple of pics

BATAC in a Okuden A-7T with a pouch and a Swamp Warden in a home made sheath.

Same knives with proper sheaths. I took the pouch off to attach the other sheath and never got around to putting it back on.

I recently sold the BATAC but have a SJ w/ sheath coming back from Okuden any day now. I will be adding the Swamp Warden and a pouch to the SJ and will take pics as I go.

Loking good John. Casey was showing the one you did for her Gerber. Very impressive. I need one of those pouches for my new SJ sheath. How do I get one?

Here is one that I have, with a few others that I still need to take the pictures.

Here is some I have put together. I don't blame Rokjok's maker for not wanting to make any more sheaths like that one. The little 'pouches' on mine took as long to make as the sheath... or longer . There is a LOT of hand fitting involved. Still, very cool once it is done. :D

Here are some pics of an interesting design by Rob Hummelbaugh (Survival Sheath Systems). One of them is Brian_T's ASH rig. VERY nice.

I went to Survival Sheath Systems to look at one of these but I could not find it. Do you have a link?

Actually, he doesn't have it on his site yet, but it IS available. If you read through his subforum in the "maker" forum, you'll find mention of it. Otherwise, just send him an email mentioning his thigh-rig. He's probably at BLADE this weekend, but he's pretty good with email. He got my BATACLE out to me within 2 weeks of my sending it to him for a "survival sheath." Great stuff.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to go digging around the maker forum.
