Sheath options for Sher Special

So after having my SSK for about a week I have been thinking I might want to upgrade my sheath. I think the sheath it came with is greath but it can be a bit of a hassle to get it in and out when needed (requires two hands). I want something I can draw the blade out one handed with relative ease, preferably in tip down/blade out baldric carry on my left side. Leather would be preferred but I dont really feel like forking over an arm and a leg for it either. Any suggestions???

Edit: This will be my EDC knife and will see a lot of use.
 
another great leather worker is wildman-- he has posted on these forums ! -- many make kydex as well, overall just listen to karda!

Heres a KLVUK / Piggyback rig Pugs made for me a while back. It has a dangler but also baldric option. The little piggyback is removable. This one gets a lot of use especially during berry season. Leatherbenders here are top notch as good as it gets. You wont be sorry. Thats a cool all around knife worthy of some fancy pants btw. Please post up some pics if you decide to git er done:thumbup:

Kamidog, that rig made me drool. I want something very similar done so i can keep my bilton with it for small stuff
 
I've actually been debating getting (or making) a piggyback rig for my Dui Chirra and MMB. Your's is sweet enough to convince me!
 
pugs recently told me that he has no leather right now, and have not heard from wildman so just look around the forums there are many leather workers here!

No worries, im not in a huge hurry. I was just wondering who could do it and how much something like that would be
 
Wildmanh is around. He is working on some tomahawk sheaths for me currently. Pugs does fine work judging by pictures so I probably have to have him build me a sheath too.
 
Wildmahn does great work. Check out some of his stuff in the archives. Pugs rocks too but he has been real busy lately.
 
that thread made me ask him for a couple of jobs but I had no cash at the time !!! -- very fair prices for very good work

Musta been a run on cows with the increased demand from the foreign market and all. May be a cow shortage in the colder climates east of here? You can even Google them and they just aint there;) That being said means the beavers are in deep doodoo:eek:
Mr Dickiss: That Bilton would make a great side knife with that SS:thumbup: Give them guys a holler. They have very reasonable rates and the quality...well.you can hand them down to your younguns no problem!

Heres one made for a lil AK Bowie of mine. Its Baldric carry and also has an extra ring so you can carry horizontal! Im tootin your horn pugs! I hope ya dont mind. I dont have anything by Wildmanh yet but hopefully that will change in time. His work sure looks awesome!
