sheath problem with 110/560 Ti

I ordered a XLT titanium handle (110/560, I can never get the number right). the sheath that came in the box was non-functional. if you have seen a sheath with a snap closure, there is a post on the non-flap side to meet with the "hole" on the flap side. well, the post is missing on the sheath, there is just this cutout in the cordura material.

I called buck and they said to send it back and they will replace it for me. that's all well and good, but does anyone know if they will refund my shipping as well?

I don't mean to be cheap, but I'm not exactly raking in the money and that's why i waited so long to get this knife (it used to be double the price). I wanted to get some experienced answer from customers as I've had the experience from another company where CSR tell me one thing and the company does something else completely different.

as an aside, if you haven't gotten one of the titanium handle XLT, now would be the time! fantastic lock up, and the crystaline finish is NICE!
 
It won't cost that much to send that sheath to them ($2-$3),hell man your getting a free sheath out of it. Buck provides the best customer service available, CJ Buck and Joe Houser go out of their way for a lot of people right here on the forums.
 
Horizon_Seeker, It will probably cost around $1.12 to $1.37 to send the sheath back (cost to send 4 to 5 onces via USPS First class mail). Looks to me like the new sheaths on Bucks site for the 110 range from about $9 to $13. So, considering that, I think the dollor+ postage is worth it.

Then again, Email Joe Houser, he might just send you one. It's worth a shot.
